Job Overview:

Eco Energy are seeking experienced and reliable roofers to carry out strip and re-tile work on residential properties. This is a subcontractor role paid at £25 per square meter, offering consistent work and prompt weekly payments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strip existing roof tiles and underlay
  • Inspect roof structure for any required remedial work
  • Install new breathable membrane and battens
  • Tile roof using specified materials (usually concrete or clay tiles)
  • Maintain a safe and tidy work area
  • Adhere to site health & safety standards

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in strip and re-tile roofing (minimum 2 years preferred)
  • Own tools, transport, and PPE
  • CSCS card (preferred but not essential)
  • UTR number and self-employed status
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently
  • Commitment to quality workmanship
