Roofing Surveyor

Essence Roofing & Building Services Ltd

£35,000–£45,000 per year depending on experience + 1% commission
Company van + fuel card

We are looking for an experienced Roofing Surveyor to join our team.

The role involves attending roofing enquiries, identifying defects, measuring works, preparing accurate quotations and helping convert enquiries into profitable jobs.

Main Duties

  • Attend residential and commercial roofing surveys.
  • Diagnose roofing defects and recommend suitable repairs.
  • Measure and photograph proposed works.
  • Produce clear scopes of work and accurate quotations.
  • Allow correctly for labour, materials, scaffolding and waste.
  • Follow up quotations and help convert enquiries into sales.
  • Communicate clearly with customers and the office team.
  • Keep surveys, quotations and CRM records up to date.
  • Provide clear handovers for accepted projects.
  • Work towards agreed sales and quotation targets.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong roofing knowledge.
  • Previous roofing, surveying or estimating experience.
  • Confident dealing with customers.
  • Good commercial awareness and pricing ability.
  • Organised with fast quotation turnaround.
  • Reliable and able to manage your own workload.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Hours: Monday–Thursday 8am–5pm, Friday 8am–4pm

The ideal candidate will be technically strong, commercially minded and capable of taking an enquiry from survey through to quotation and sale.

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
