Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in roofing and construction, demonstrating proficiency with hand tools and power tools. This role involves working on various roofing projects, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. The Roofer will be responsible for Re-newing, repairing, and maintaining roofs while collaborating with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently. Must be able to drive and have own van & ladders

Duties

• Install roofing systems using a variety of materials, including Slates, tiles Etc.
• Perform repairs on existing roofs, identifying issues such as leaks or damage.
• Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete roofing tasks.
• Engage in heavy lifting and manoeuvring of materials as required on-site.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople as necessary for project completion.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment throughout the duration of each project.
• Fabricate components as needed to meet specific project requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections of roofing systems to ensure longevity and performance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Roofer or in a similar construction role.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment related to roofing tasks.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights safely.
• Strong understanding of building codes and safety regulations related to roofing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Own vehicle required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £170.00-£200.00 per day

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
