Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Contract Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organisational and communication skills, with a strong background in Roofing. Candidate will be completing works for various local councils, managing up to 30 subcontractors, quoting jobs, managing materials and labour.

Must have at least 2 years relevant experience, come from a trade background. Ideally experience with SOR codes and pricing up works.

Can be paid on PAYE/UTR

Responsibilities

• Negotiate contract terms and conditions with clients and suppliers to achieve favourable outcomes.
• Manage the entire contract lifecycle from initiation through execution, ensuring all parties adhere to agreed terms.
• Collaborate with various departments including IT and office management to align contract objectives with organisational goals.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
• Monitor contract performance, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
• Prepare reports and documentation related to contracts, utilising Excel for data analysis and presentation.
• Implement best practices in contract management to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the organisation.
• Provide guidance and support to team members regarding contractual obligations and processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience in contract management or a related field, demonstrating strong project management skills.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Strong negotiation skills, with a track record of successfully negotiating favourable contract terms.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, for data management and reporting purposes.
• Effective time management skills, enabling prioritisation of tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the drive to identify opportunities for improvement in contract processes.

Pay: £60,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
