Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Plasterer/Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from interior wall finishes to exterior facades, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and safety standards. As a key member of our crew, you will assist with plastering tasks while supporting various construction activities, contributing to the successful completion of projects on time and within scope. Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer to ensure optimal plaster adhesion
  • Mix plaster materials accurately according to project specifications and safety guidelines
  • Apply plaster coatings smoothly and evenly on walls, ceilings, or other surfaces using hand tools and trowels
  • Assist with installing roofing, masonry, carpentry, or fabrication tasks as needed to support overall project progress
  • Operate power tools and hand tools safely for cutting, shaping, or installing building components
  • Support plumbing, electrical, welding, or construction painting tasks when required to meet project demands
  • Follow schematics and blueprints to ensure precise application of materials and adherence to design specifications
  • Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly

Experience

  • Prior experience in construction work, especially in plastering or related trades such as masonry or carpentry
  • Familiarity with roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical systems, or construction painting is advantageous
  • Ability to read schematics and technical drawings for accurate project execution
  • Experience operating power tools and hand tools safely and effectively
  • Knowledge of fabrication processes and working with various building materials
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
