We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in roofing and related construction tasks, demonstrating proficiency in various techniques and tools. This role involves working on residential and commercial properties, ensuring roofs are installed, repaired, and maintained to the highest standards. Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain roofs using various materials such as shingles, tiles, and metal.
• Assess roof conditions and determine necessary repairs or replacements.
• Work collaboratively with other tradespeople including carpenters and masons to ensure comprehensive project completion.
• Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and fastening roofing materials.
• Read and interpret schematics to follow project specifications accurately.
• Fabricate components as needed to fit specific roofing designs or structures.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and building codes.
• Perform regular inspections of roofs to identify potential issues before they escalate.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Roofer or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Familiarity with carpentry, masonry, welding, plumbing, and building techniques.
• Proficient in using power tools and hand tools relevant to roofing tasks.
• Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labour for extended periods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £120.00-£200.00 per day
