Job Summary

As a Roofer, you’ll install, repair and maintain roofs, working safely with materials, tools and plans to deliver durable, weather-resistant results. You’ll collaborate with colleagues to complete work carefully and keep sites organised.

Responsibilities

  • Read schematics and assess roof structures to plan repairs, installations and material requirements.
  • Measure, cut and fit roofing materials, using hand and power tools to complete work accurately.
  • Carry out relevant carpentry, masonry, plumbing, welding or fabrication tasks as needed for roofing work.
  • Lift and position materials safely, maintain a tidy work area and check finished work for secure, weatherproof results.
  • Your impact: Sound repairs help protect building occupants and their belongings from weather damage.

Qualifications

Required: Practical ability to use hand and power tools, handle materials safely, follow schematics and carry out roofing tasks with care. Preferred: Construction experience, particularly involving roofing, carpentry, masonry, plumbing, welding or fabrication, will help you adapt to varied site work and contribute confidently alongside colleagues.

Pay: £101.68-£271.68 per day
