Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Joiner to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. As a Joiner, you will be responsible for crafting, installing, repairing, and maintaining wooden structures and fixtures with precision and care. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilising your craftsmanship and technical expertise. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will contribute to delivering high-quality results that meet project specifications and client expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Measure, cut, assemble, and install wooden components such as doors, windows, cabinetry, and framing structures.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and masonry techniques to complete various joinery tasks efficiently.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and project plans to ensure accurate execution of work.
  • Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct repairs or modifications on existing structures to improve functionality or aesthetic appeal.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other tradespeople to coordinate tasks seamlessly.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored after use.

Skills

  • Proficiency in using hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers, and screwdrivers.
  • Experience with power tools including drills, sanders, grinders, and saws for efficient work execution.
