Skilled Roofer

MD Group – Somerset

We are actively seeking roofers residing in Wiltshire, Somerset & Hampshire

Our Skilled Roofer will receive:

• £16.00 - £18.00 an hour (depending on experience)
• 20 days holiday a year + BH’s

The Role of a Roofer:

We have opportunities for an experienced Roofer to cover our contracts. You will need a minimum of 2 years roofing experience, and to be able to work on tiled roofs, virgin ridge and basic lead work skills. In addition, basic skills in carpentry and plumbing are required.

• One main trade qualification (or time served trades experience) e.g. NVQ 2, NVQ 3, City & Guilds.
• Current Health & Safety Training certificates (including, but not limited to, Asbestos Awareness, Working at Height, Manual Handling & Risk Assessments)
• An understanding and be able to use effectively (after training) equipment and processes which may be reasonably required by the Company
• Recent experience working in social housing
• Experience and a passion for delivering high quality services to a diverse range of customers
