P&P is an outsourced housekeeping company that oversees housekeeping in an extensive portfolio of exclusive hotels across the UK. We are currently looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated candidates for the position of Housekeeping Supervisor in a fantastic hotel:

Melia White House

Shift Pattern:

Flexible shifts between Monday and Sunday

Availability to cover weekends

We offer:

  • Hourly rate of £14.80 per hour
  • Two weekly payments
  • Up to 28 days of paid holiday per year

PREVIOUS REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous housekeeping management experience - ideally
  • Previous people management experience, including training and development
  • Desirable to know about dealing with Health & Safety matters

MAIN DUTIES:

  • You’ll assist, support, and supervise your mighty team of Housekeeping Attendants.
  • Attending and participating in daily and monthly meetings for preparation, you’ll have a vital role in the setup and service of the hotel, maintaining and continually improving our standards and the quality of our service, consistently exceeding our guest expectations.
  • Ensuring operating costs are managed effectively, you’ll have responsibility for stock take completion and stock orders in the most organised and efficient ways.
  • Always warm and thoughtful, you and your team will make sure all customer requests and queries are responded to promptly, effectively, and professionally.
  • You’ll check all areas before, during and at the end of each shift, ensuring our sky-high standards are maintained; you’ll also carry out daily maintenance and cleanliness checks across all areas of guest and colleague facing rooms.
  • Playing a pivotal role in ensuring the motivation of our team, you’ll work with them, fully involved in their coaching, training, and development.
  • We are interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful, and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations, playing your part in making their stay with us five stars.
