Job Overview
We are seeking to recruit a flexible and enthusiastic team member to work at Rosevine Hotel as a receptionist. Due to the size of the property, all team members are required to be adaptable and comfortable supporting multiple departments as needed.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys working in a varied, guest-focused environment and thrive as part of a close-knit team. This role involves delivering exceptional customer service in a vibrant hospitality environment, ensuring guests have a memorable experience. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued.

Responsibilities

Reception Duties

  • Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently
  • Handle reservations, amendments, and cancellations
  • Answer telephone calls and respond to guest enquiries
  • Process payments and issue invoices/receipts
  • Provide information about the hotel, local area, and services
  • Resolve guest issues promptly, escalating where necessary
  • Maintain accurate guest records and daily logs
  • Liaise effectively with housekeeping and maintenance teams

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a hotel or serviced accommodation; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are key
  • Experience in administering Weddings and events can be beneficial but training will be provided for the right candidate
  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
  • A professional appearance and behaviour suitable for a customer-facing role
  • Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and evenings as required
