Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and dedicated Commis de Partie (CDP) to join our esteemed 2AA Rosette restaurant team. This role provides an excellent opportunity for a passionate culinary professional to develop their skills within a prestigious dining environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the kitchen team in delivering high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Duties
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of a variety of dishes in accordance with restaurant standards and recipes
- Support the senior kitchen team in meal preparation and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations
- Ensure all food is prepared efficiently, accurately, and to the highest quality standards
- Assist with stock rotation, inventory management, and ordering as required
- Contribute to maintaining a positive and professional working environment
- Serve dishes to guests when required, ensuring excellent customer service standards are met
- Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all staff
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or within a professional kitchen environment
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety regulations
- Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high standards of presentation and quality
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Passion for cuisine and eagerness to learn and develop culinary skills
