Parcelforce Collection & Delivery Driver (Saturday Only)


Job Ref: 338384

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 8 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime. Typical attendance is Saturday, 09:00 - 17:00.

Location: Parcelforce Worldwide Newcastle Depot, Drum Industrial Estate Chester Lee Street Newcastle DH2 1AE


Why this role pays off:

  • Starting salary: £12.71 per hour

  • After 6 months: £13.49 per hour

  • Saturday Weekend Premium +£4.26 applied to contracted hours

** Bringing starting salary to £16.97 p/h, increasing to £17.75 p/h after 6 months

What you’ll be doing

  • Sorting parcels and planning efficient delivery routes
  • Carrying out essential vehicle safety checks
  • Collecting and delivering parcels to homes and businesses
  • Providing a friendly, dependable service — whether it’s a birthday gift or important business mail


What we’re looking for

  • A full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to your current address, with no more than 6 points
  • Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg
  • Someone who’s friendly, dependable, and customer focused
  • Comfortable working independently but also a great team player
  • Looking for a stable, long-term role in a growing organisation
