Collection and Network Driver

Location: Delivery Office, HG1 4EE
Job type: Fixed Term contract for 6 months
Hours: 20:00 hours per week, working 5 days across Mon-Sun, working between 15:00pm and 19:00pm on Monday to Friday, 09:00am and 14:00pm on a Saturday. There will be very occasional Sunday work but this is only during Peak times

And dropping it off at our processing centres. Sorting out your mailbags and making sure each piece gets to the right place, at the right time. You deliver much more than just letters and parcels. A bit about you

- Has a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points

A guaranteed hourly rate of £13.68p/h (paid monthly and adjusted to your working hours).- 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service (adjusted to your working hours if below 37 hours a week).

Please note: For candidate search purposes, roles offering between 35-37 hours per week are listed as full-time. However, any role under 37 hours per week will be classified as part-time in the employment contract.
As a Collection Driver, you’re expected to securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.
