Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic/Vehicle Technician to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. The successful candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in all aspects of vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs. Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues
- Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and other vehicle components.
- Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used
- Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Assist in ordering parts and managing inventory for workshop supplies
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times during work activities
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle repair and maintenance
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive technology or mechanics are preferred but not essential
