Duties

• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues
• Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and other vehicle components.
• Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment and troubleshooting techniques
• Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used
• Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications
• Assist in ordering parts and managing inventory for workshop supplies
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times during work activities

Requirements

• Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle repair and maintenance
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive technology or mechanics are preferred but not essential
