Overview

Cirka UK is seeking reliable and dedicated Casual Matchday Cleaners to join our team for upcoming fixtures at Gloucester Rugby. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the maintenance of our stadium environment, ensuring a clean and welcoming atmosphere for players, staff, and supporters. The position is ideal for individuals with previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work who are looking to be part of a vibrant sporting community on matchdays.

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas within the stadium before, during, and after matches, including seating areas, concourses, hospitality suites, and restrooms.
  • Ensure all surfaces are sanitised and maintained to high standards in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Manage waste disposal efficiently throughout the venue, maintaining cleanliness at all times.
  • Assist with setting up and packing away cleaning equipment and supplies as required.
  • Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning duties to the appropriate personnel promptly.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure the stadium remains clean, safe, and presentable for matchday events.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment during busy matchdays.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the venue.
  • Flexibility to work on weekends and during evenings on matchdays as required.
  • Reliable with a professional attitude and good communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a physically demanding role.
