Our client, Soultree Ltd(SOOM), a modern Korean BBQ restaurant in the heart of Covent Garden, offering a refined yet welcoming Korean dining experience built on quality food, thoughtful service, and strong team culture.

SOOM is seeking an experienced and dynamic Front of House Manager to lead our front-of-house operations, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and play a key role in the continued growth of the business.

Job Summary

1. Language Skills

2. Main Work

As FOH Manager, you will take full ownership of the restaurant floor and guest journey, ensuring consistently high service standards while overseeing daily operations, team performance, and operational systems.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone detail-driven, commercially aware, and passionate about hospitality excellence.

3. Key Responsibilities

Service & Guest Experience

  • Lead all Front of House operations during service, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery
  • Deliver and maintain exceptional customer service standards at all times
  • Handle VIP guests, large group bookings, and customer enquiries
  • Resolve customer feedback and complaints (VOC) professionally and proactively
  • Optimise table turnover and seating flow to maximise efficiency without compromising experience

Operations & Systems

  • Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations including opening and closing procedures
  • Maintain and continuously improve SOPs, service standards, and operational systems
  • Ensure food and beverage service meets presentation and quality expectations
  • Coordinate closely with the kitchen to ensure seamless FOH–BOH communication

Team Leadership & Training

  • Recruit, train, and develop FOH team members (waiters, hosts, runners, bar staff)
  • Lead structured training programmes in service standards, food safety, and guest experience
  • Manage rotas, shift scheduling, and team performance
  • Conduct staff evaluations and support ongoing development
  • Build a positive, professional, and team-oriented culture

Reservations & Administration

  • Manage reservations, including large groups and private dining bookings
  • Oversee seating plans and booking optimisation
  • Handle administrative tasks (reports, scheduling, documentation)
  • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to directors

Business, Cost Control & Marketing

  • Support revenue growth and business development initiatives
  • Assist with purchasing, stock monitoring, and cost control of service-related supplies
  • Monitor labour efficiency and service KPIs
  • Support marketing initiatives, including promoting events, offers, and menu updates

Compliance & Standards

  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, health & safety, and licensing regulations
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation across the restaurant

4. Other working conditions

  • 1 or more years of relevant work experience
  • Work Visa Holders of a visa that allows them to work legally in the UK
  • Salary: Starting from£15 + benefits (negotiable based on the experience)
  • Working hours: 40~50 hours a week
  • Work Schedule: 4-5 days a week including Weekends
  • Holiday: 28 days including Bank Holiday
