• Who we are: Loving Foods is an organic, fermented food and drink manufacturer that require someone to help us as we continue to grow. This is a physical, hands-on role, getting involved in most areas of the operation, and working within a small, friendly kitchen team.
• What we do: We are a production kitchen and warehouse operation. It's not a high-pressure environment, there are no customers to answer to and no screaming chefs. The team do work hard, but it's generally a nice, relaxed place to work. Every day we produce new product, pack/bottle it and pick/pack orders.
• What you'll do: There are a variety of different tasks on different days to keep things interesting, including washing, chopping and prepping vegetables; operating machinery; jarring; capping; bottling; labelling; packaging; cleaning and completing paperwork. In the warehouse, it's processing paperwork, picking stock, packing and dispatching. You will work with the team to ensure that health & safety/hygiene standards are maintained, make sure that recipes are followed, and that our products are produced to a high standard.
• What you need: Hygiene and cleanliness is absolutely critical in our work environment, so an understanding of good working practices is very important. The rest we can teach you. Some kitchen experience is essential.
• Where we are: We are operating from our new unit on Lyntown Trading Estate in Eccles.
• What the hours are: No late nights. No weekends: We are looking for someone to work four to days a week, between Monday-Friday, for around 30-35 hours, with some flexibility. We start at 07:30 and finish around 15:30 each day.
• What we need: A physically fit, energetic, friendly, hard-working individual, who is motivated, committed, quick to learn and works well in a small team.
• What we pay: We pay all permanent staff a minimum of £13.00 per hour, with regular salary reviews. In addition, we offer a variety of discounts, free products, Cycle to Work scheme, employee wellbeing programme and store discounts.
