About Prevail Partners

Prevail Partners is a leading British intelligence, security and operational support company. We help governments, NGOs and commercial organisations operate safely and effectively in some of the world's most complex environments by combining intelligence, technology and operational expertise. Our teams deliver actionable insight that helps clients manage risk, make informed decisions and achieve meaningful operational impact where it matters most.

Our shared mission is to deliver unrelenting excellence in everything we do, underpinned by integrity, curiosity, accountability and care.

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Intelligence Analyst to join our Operational Intelligence team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of high-quality, insight-driven intelligence that enables our clients to make informed decisions and achieve real-world operational outcomes. Working within a fast-paced consultancy environment, you will contribute across the full intelligence lifecycle, from collection and analysis through to reporting and client briefing.

We're looking for someone who can quickly integrate into the team, work independently with minimal supervision, and deliver high-quality intelligence products from day one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of complex intelligence tasks, delivering accurate, timely and actionable intelligence in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver intelligence products aligned to client priorities and collection plans.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, translating client requirements into high-value intelligence products.
  • Collect, evaluate and analyse information from a wide range of open-source and commercially available data sources.
  • Produce clear, concise and well-structured intelligence reports, assessments, briefings and presentations, including visual and geospatial products where appropriate.
  • Deliver confident verbal briefings to clients and colleagues, communicating complex findings in a clear and engaging manner.
  • Apply recognised intelligence methodologies and structured analytical techniques to produce evidence-based assessments.
  • Conduct peer reviews of intelligence products to ensure analytical rigour and consistent quality.
  • Use link analysis, data visualisation and intelligence management tools to identify trends, patterns and relationships.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of intelligence processes, collection methodologies and analytical approaches.
  • Maintain high standards of information management, data security and data integrity.
  • Learn and utilise a range of specialist intelligence collection, analysis and reporting tools.

Requirements

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Formal intelligence or analytical training through a recognised government, law enforcement, corporate or academic programme.
  • Experience conducting intelligence collection and analysis within government, law enforcement, corporate intelligence, security, technology or a similar operational environment.
  • Demonstrable experience producing intelligence reporting that supports operational teams or senior decision-makers.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with experience manipulating, analysing and interpreting large or complex datasets.
  • Experience using data visualisation and business intelligence tools, such as Power BI, to communicate analytical findings effectively.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to assess information from multiple sources and produce balanced, evidence-based assessments.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality reports and intelligence products with minimal supervision.
  • Confidence creating briefing materials and presenting findings to internal and external stakeholders.
  • High levels of IT literacy, including Microsoft Office and analytical or visualisation software.
  • A strong understanding of the intelligence cycle, collection planning and intelligence requirements management.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently deliver to tight deadlines.
  • Strong awareness of current affairs, geopolitical developments and emerging security issues relevant to the role.

Priority will be given to candidates with experience in national security, law enforcement, corporate security, intelligence or technology environments, particularly those involved in online investigations, OSINT or data analytics.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Experience supporting investigations, targeting or intelligence-led operations.
  • Experience using specialist OSINT platforms, geospatial analysis tools or digital investigation software.
  • Experience with structured analytical techniques and intelligence methodologies.
  • Experience producing geospatial products using GIS tools.
  • Knowledge of AI-enabled research and analytical tools.
  • Defence or military intelligence experience.
  • Foreign language capability, particularly Arabic, Farsi, Russian or French.

Personal Attributes

We're looking for someone who:

  • Can quickly integrate into an experienced operational team and make an immediate contribution.
  • Is proactive, self-motivated and comfortable taking ownership of their work.
  • Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and takes pride in producing high-quality intelligence.
  • Thinks critically, objectively and exercises sound professional judgement.
  • Communicates confidently and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
  • Builds positive working relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Remains calm, organised and effective when working under pressure.
  • Is adaptable, curious and motivated to continually learn new technologies and analytical techniques.
  • Maintains discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
  • Is committed to continuous improvement and delivering excellent outcomes for clients.
