Full job description

Ateliers London is a leading British manufacturer of bespoke luxury upholstered and hard-case furniture, sought after by distinguished interior designers and architects internationally. Renowned for our work in luxury residential and hospitality projects, our Park Royal workshop merges traditional craftsmanship with innovation to create exceptional, covetable furniture. We are now strengthening our in-house SAP Business One expertise as we bring our system live.

The Role

The SAP Business One Administrator will join an SAP Business One programme that is substantially built and now in User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Our system has been designed and configured in partnership with our SAP Gold Partner, and you will bring your hands-on SAP Business One and Beas Manufacturing expertise to complete the remaining configuration, work the UAT cycle through to sign-off, take the system to go-live, and support it into business-as-usual.

This is a hands-on, in-house role, and you will not be working in isolation: you will sit within our internal team and continue to work alongside our SAP Gold Partner, who provides ongoing implementation, hosting, licensing and infrastructure support.

Location: Onsite — 15 Gorst Road, Park Royal, London, NW10 6LA
Job Type: Full-time, permanent
Standard hours: 40 hours over 5 days, Monday to Friday, 9.00am–6.00pm

Our Environment

We run SAP Business One (latest, on SAP HANA), hosted on our SAP Gold Partner's dedicated AWS HANA Cloud platform, complemented by Beas Manufacturing and the Boyum suite (Usability Package, Print & Delivery, CRM for Outlook). Post-go-live (Phase 2), the wider ecosystem will integrate with SolidWorks, Moorepay, Route Management and Adobe Commerce. Our model is configure-to-order, so the manufacturing and product-configurator layers are central, not peripheral. The system is substantially built and in UAT — your work begins on a well-architected platform with configuration still to complete.

Key Responsibilities

Completing configuration & go-live

  • Complete and refine configuration across our in-scope modules: Finance (including Fixed Assets), Sales, CRM, Stock Management (including batch/serial), Purchasing, MRP, Service and Production.
  • Finalise and optimise Beas Manufacturing, including the Product Configurator (configure-to-order rules, dynamic pricing, BOM/routing links), Advanced Planning & Scheduling (finite capacity, Gantt), Quality Control, and the shop-floor terminal apps (production data collection, issue/receipts, pick & pack, labels, time & attendance).
  • Complete configuration of the Boyum Usability Package, Print & Delivery (customer-facing document layouts) and CRM for Outlook.
  • Drive the User Acceptance Testing cycle: run test scripts, diagnose and resolve snags, apply fixes and configuration tweaks, and prepare the system for sign-off — working with our Gold Partner where escalation is needed.
  • Support data migration via the Data Transfer Workbench (DTW) — validating master data, item and BOM lines through to cut-over.
  • Set up and support Making Tax Digital (MTD) submission.

System support & business-as-usual

  • Act as our internal system administrator and first-line expert — providing the in-house availability, user administration, licence management, authorisations, new configurations and issue resolution.
  • Build and maintain Crystal Reports, SQL / HANA SQL queries (SAP Query Manager) and management dashboards, and amend document layouts (Boyum Print & Delivery / standard SAP layouts) — producing the KPI reporting and customer-facing documents the business needs in-house, reducing reliance on external report development.
  • Design and deliver Super-User and end-user training, and build the internal process documentation and user guides that the business will run on.
  • Scope, support and deliver Phase 2 integrations as prioritised, including: Adobe Commerce (Magento) e-commerce and Route Management (Stream) (both via the BPA Codeless Platform); SolidWorks CAD/BOM API integration; Moorepay payroll and BrightHR HR (via API); and OCR invoice capture, banking and courier integrations. Configuration of the SAP Projects module also falls within future scope.
  • Maintain data quality across SAP/Beas and the connected tools (SolidWorks, Moorepay, Route Management, Adobe Commerce), ensuring the physical and virtual value chains reconcile.
  • Build reporting and dashboards aligned to our Critical Success Factors and KPIs (lead time, quality, stock accuracy, order progress).

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven, hands-on experience implementing and configuring SAP Business One end-to-end, including taking a system through UAT and go-live personally.
  • Demonstrable configuration expertise across Finance, Sales, CRM, Stock/Inventory (batch & serial), Purchasing, MRP, Service and Production modules.
  • Beas Manufacturing configuration experience — this is essential, not desirable — including Product Configurator, APS and shop-floor terminals.
  • Boyum experience (Usability Package, Print & Delivery, CRM for Outlook).
  • Strong command of the Data Transfer Workbench and data validation and migration.
  • Proficient in SQL / HANA SQL query writing (SAP Query Manager) and Crystal Reports, and in building or amending document layouts (Boyum Print & Delivery / standard SAP layouts).
  • Confident diagnosing and resolving UAT snags and configuration issues, and comfortable picking up and building on an existing, partner-configured system.

Desirable

  • Experience in a manufacturing, bespoke, made-to-order or luxury goods environment.
  • SAP HANA / AWS-hosted deployment familiarity.
  • UK financial compliance and Making Tax Digital experience.
  • BPA Codeless Platform (Codeless Platforms) integration experience, and exposure to integrations across Adobe Commerce (Magento), Route Management (Stream), SolidWorks CAD/BOM, and payroll/HR APIs (Moorepay, BrightHR).
  • Relevant SAP Business One certification.

Pay: £40,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • Employee discount

Experience:

  • SAP: 5 years (required)
