Logistics Administrator (Temporary - 6 Months)

Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire
Pay Rate: £13.00 - £14.50 per hour DOE
Contract: Temporary Assignment (6 Months)
Hours: Full-Time

We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Administrator to join a busy and fast-paced logistics operation in Abingdon on a 6-month temporary contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator with logistics or warehouse experience to join a well-established business and provide vital support to the logistics team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support within the logistics department.
  • Process and maintain accurate information using SAP.
  • Support warehouse and logistics operations through effective administration and coordination.
  • Manage logistics documentation and update internal systems.
  • Liaise with internal departments, customers, transport providers and warehouse personnel.
  • Handle email correspondence and team communications using Outlook and Microsoft Teams.
  • Produce and update reports using Microsoft Excel.
  • Ensure records are accurate and maintained in line with company procedures.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous administration experience within a logistics, warehouse or supply chain environment.
  • SAP knowledge (P40 experience advantageous).
  • Competent user of Microsoft Outlook, Teams and Excel.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines.

Desirable Experience

  • Previous Team Leader or Supervisory experience.
  • Experience within a manufacturing, distribution or warehouse environment.
