Walker and Sloan are working with an award-winning digital marketing agency looking to bring on a talented SEO Specialist to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a range of exciting clients, delivering impactful SEO strategies within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

Location: [Essex / Hybrid – 2 days office, 3 days remote]
Salary: Up to £40,000 + benefits

The Role

As an SEO Specialist, you’ll play a key role in planning, executing, and optimising SEO campaigns across multiple client accounts. You’ll work closely with internal teams including content, paid media, and development to drive organic growth and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver on-page and off-page SEO strategies across a portfolio of clients
  • Conduct technical SEO audits and implement recommendations
  • Carry out keyword research, competitor analysis, and gap analysis
  • Monitor and report on SEO performance using tools such as GA4, Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs
  • Collaborate with content teams to optimise website copy and blog content
  • Support link-building strategies and digital PR activity
  • Stay up to date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience in an SEO-focused role (agency experience preferred)
  • Strong understanding of technical, on-page, and off-page SEO
  • Experience using SEO tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs)
  • Ability to analyse data and translate insights into actionable strategies
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects
