About Atomic Digital Marketing
Atomic Digital Marketing is not just another agency. We are an award-winning, results-driven digital marketing powerhouse, known for delivering game-changing campaigns that propel our clients to the forefront of their industries. With a reputation built on innovation, dedication, and measurable success, we pride ourselves on fostering an environment where our team thrives, professional growth flourishes, and client satisfaction reigns supreme.
As a well-respected, UK leading and rapidly expanding full-service agency, we partner with ambitious brands to craft and execute digital marketing strategies that translate directly into tangible business results. When you join Atomic, you become part of a team that continually pushes boundaries, embraces new technologies, and challenges the norm, ensuring that both our clients and our people are always one step ahead.
About the Role
We're looking for an SEO & Account Manager to own a portfolio of retainer clients end to end. This is a dual role. You'll be the strategist behind the SEO performance and the person the client trusts to run their account.
That means building the strategy, delivering the technical and on-page work, and then sitting in front of the client every month to explain what happened and what's next. You'll own the commercial health of your accounts, from retention through to spotting where a client should be investing more.
Search is changing faster than it has in a decade. AI overviews, zero-click results and LLM-driven discovery are reshaping how our clients get found, and we want someone who is genuinely interested in getting ahead of that rather than running the same playbook they ran in 2020.
What You'll Be Doing
Own SEO strategy across your portfolio: technical, on-page, content and off-page, built around each client's commercial goals rather than a fixed checklist.
Run technical SEO delivery: audits, crawl and indexation issues, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, structured data, migrations, and working with our dev team to get fixes shipped.
Drive content and digital PR: keyword and intent research, content briefs and optimisation, and earning authority through genuinely link-worthy work.
Own the client relationship: monthly reporting calls, quarterly strategy reviews, and being the person your clients actually want to hear from.
Protect and grow account value: manage retention, spot growth opportunities, and make the commercial case for expanding scope where it's genuinely right for the client.
Report on what matters: tie rankings and traffic to leads, revenue and pipeline, not just position tracking.
Stay ahead of search: AI overviews, LLM visibility, SERP feature changes, and translating what they mean for our clients before they ask.
Collaborate across departments: work with Paid, Social, Creative and Dev so SEO is part of an integrated strategy rather than a silo.
Who We're Looking For
- 4+ years hands-on SEO experience with results you can evidence, whether that's rankings, organic revenue, lead volume or recovered traffic.
- Genuine technical depth. You can run an audit, read a crawl, diagnose an indexation problem and brief a developer properly.
- Strong commercial instinct. You understand that a client cares about enquiries and revenue, not impressions.
- Confident client-facing communication. You can present performance, defend a recommendation, and have the honest conversation when a month hasn't gone to plan.
- Experience owning client accounts, ideally in an agency, and comfortable juggling multiple retainers and deadlines.
- Fluent in the toolset: Google Analytics 4, Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs or Semrush, Looker Studio.
- Understanding of or interest in AI in search, including AI overviews, LLM visibility, and using AI tools to work faster on research, briefs and reporting.
- Naturally proactive, curious and solutions-focused. You don't wait to be told what's wrong. You spot it, plan it, fix it.
What Sets Atomic Apart
Lucrative Rewards & Recognition: At Atomic, we wholeheartedly believe in rewarding our team for their hard work and achievements. All Account Managers receive commission and bonuses tied to their accounts, revenues, and performance milestones. End-of-year bonuses, salary reviews, and incentives for positive client reviews further reflect our commitment to recognising and nurturing talent.
Cutting-Edge Technologies: Access to the latest marketing tools, advanced analytics platforms, and emerging marketing technologies ensures you can stay one step ahead of the competition.
Professional Development & Growth: We actively invest in our people. Regular training sessions, workshops, and opportunities to attend industry events enable you to grow your skill set and elevate your career within the agency.
Real Ownership: You own your accounts. No layers of approval between you and the work, and your recommendations get backed.
Join Atomic Today
If you are a driven, experienced SEO professional looking to join an agency that values expertise, innovation, and collective success, Atomic Digital Marketing is the place for you. Your career will flourish in a supportive atmosphere that encourages professional growth, collaboration, and creativity.
Pay: £32,000.00-£37,000.00 per year
