Organisational Context

Founded by Harry Sanders in 2015, StudioHawk is a specialised agency dedicated to search engine optimisation. Our SEO services are responsive, ethical, authentic and delivered by a genuinely passionate and diverse team of SEO specialists in Melbourne and London.

The UK office was founded by Anthony Barone, based in Shoreditch, London. We have over 65 clients in multiple industries and multiple platforms, based in the UK, EU, and USA.

There's a reason why we have scooped awards at the UK Search Awards and Global Search Awards since opening up shop here in the UK - It's in our proven track record.

StudioHawk clients reach their SEO goals. We use white-hat SEO techniques to make sure sites succeed and aren't at risk from Google penalties. Over 400 campaigns and never a single penalisation or manual action due to our work.

There are no generalists here, we are just a damn good SEO & AI Search agency.

We lead our industry by striving to be the difference by educating, building and evolving passionate people.

We want StudioHawk's basics to be someone else's great.

Primary Purpose of the Position

The SEO Specialist is primarily responsible for managing a portfolio of client SEO campaigns, delivering strong technical, on-page, and content work, and contributing fresh thinking that helps our clients grow their organic visibility. You'll work closely with the SEO Team Leader and senior team members, with a clear path to progression as you develop your expertise.

You've got a minimum of three years delivering SEO inside a fast-moving environment and can walk into a client account with zero hand-holding. You follow industry developments in your own time. You use AI tools to do better work, not just faster work. You're not here to coast; you're here to grow and better yourself.

  • Monitor campaign performance and make proactive optimisation decisions
  • Prepare performance reports with clear analysis and next steps
  • Support the SEO Team Leader with ad hoc campaign requirements

  • Conduct content audits and provide content ideation and brief support
  • Contribute fresh perspectives on how clients can differentiate in search
  • Create monthly reporting and comprehensive data analysis
  • Trial and test new SEO-related opportunities and share learnings with the team

  • Work collaboratively with senior team members and account managers
  • Provide exceptional client service aligned with StudioHawk values
  • Contribute to team knowledge sharing and bring new ideas to the table

An annual work plan will be developed in line with the Position Description and StudioHawk's Annual Business Plan to measure performance.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on SEO experience required.
  • Agency background required: you need to have delivered SEO across multiple client accounts under sprint/reporting cadence, not just in-house on a single site.
