Part of the Genuit Group, we combine long-term stability with a culture built on teamwork, accountability and continuous improvement. We encourage fresh ideas, invest in development and are committed to creating a safe, inclusive and supportive workplace where everyone feels like they belong.

We're looking for an ambitious, commercially driven Regional Sales Manager to help grow Talon's market share across your territory.

You'll be responsible for developing existing customer relationships, winning new business and creating demand for our market-leading product range. Working with independent and national merchants, buying groups, contractors, installers, developers and specification influencers, you'll play a key role in delivering profitable growth while representing the Talon brand.

If you're a proactive sales professional who enjoys building long-term partnerships and spotting new opportunities, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop new business while strengthening relationships with existing customers.

  • Manage key accounts across independent merchants, national merchant groups and distributors.

  • Promote the full Talon product range and support successful new product launches.

  • Generate demand with contractors, installers, developers and specification influencers, driving business back through merchant partners.

  • Identify and develop specification opportunities from initial enquiry through to project completion.

  • Deliver product demonstrations, customer training and commercial presentations.

  • Plan and manage your territory effectively, maintaining a strong sales pipeline and accurate forecasts.

  • Use our CRM system to manage customer activity and opportunities.

  • Work closely with our Internal Sales, Customer Service, Marketing and Operations teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

  • Represent Talon at customer events, exhibitions and trade shows.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

  • An experienced field sales or business development professional.

  • Successful in selling to builders' merchants, plumbing merchants, distributors or within the construction supply chain.

  • Commercially minded with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.

  • Confident managing a territory and working independently.

  • An excellent communicator and presenter.

  • Well organised with strong planning and time management skills.

  • Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.

  • In possession of a full UK driving licence and willing to travel extensively within the region, including occasional overnight stays.

It would be great if you also have;

  • Experience within the plumbing or building products industry.

  • Knowledge of national merchant groups and buying groups.

  • Experience of specification selling and project tracking.

  • An understanding of the UK merchant distribution network.

Some of the good bits:

  • Competitive salary within the market

  • Company car

  • Bonus paid monthly

  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

  • Up to 8% matched pension contributions

  • Life assurance

  • Enhanced Maternity and Paternity pay

  • Various health & wellbeing initiatives including complimentary occupational health on-site physiotherapy and counselling services

  • Staff discount on all Genuit Group products

Why Join Talon?

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing UK manufacturer with ambitious plans for the future. You'll become part of a high-performing sales team with the autonomy to shape your territory, influence customer success and play a key role in Talon's continued growth.

If you are passionate about building relationships, creating opportunities and delivering commercial success, we'd love to hear from you.

Here at the Genuit Group we recognise and develop the contribution our people make to the Group’s success and are committed to attracting talent from the widest pool. We have a role to play in making the built environment more sustainable, building a low carbon business ourselves as well as delivering sustainable solutions at scale.
