Established in 2012, Cartime is one of the UK’s fastest growing used car dealerships, which has recently opened a new site as part of its further expansion plans.

We specialise in providing prestige, showroom-condition cars from all makes and models, including brands such as Audi, BMW, Range Rover, Mercedes and Jaguar. With showrooms located across Northwest England with further nationwide expansion plans.

We have a strong approach to customer service and thanks to our recent growth, are looking for Sales Executives to join our growing team in the Nelson. To be considered for this role your must have previous experience within a Sales Executive role and have held a full UK Driving Licence for 3 years.

The Benefits of being our Sales Executive:

There is a basic salary of £20,000 per annum with an OTE in your first year of up to £75,000 which includes the generous bonus and commission scheme. In addition, you will receive regular weekends off, regular early finishes and / or late starts, 28 days holiday, pension, company car, and company events.

The role of our Sales Executive:

  • Follow the sales process to build customer loyalty and satisfaction, ensuring all customer needs are met
  • Provide customers with a warm welcome and an individual, exclusive experience aligned to Cartime brand values
  • Qualify customer needs, collect customer contact details and marketing consent decision
  • Perform up to date, high quality and accurate appraisals of vehicle part exchanges, obtaining valuations from the buying team
  • Provide tailored demonstration of product features and use approved presentation methods for add-on products
  • Adhere to legal regulations and internal procedures for test drives and use of booking and loan system, ensuring safety is maintained
  • Provide updates, explain next steps, changes, payment method, part exchange, registration details and arranging delivery dates to ensure customers are prepared for handover
  • Maintain customer relationships, manage customer issues, and continue relationship building with 6 monthly follow up calls
  • Professional use and practice of CitNOW presentations, static demonstrations, pre/post-handover messages, 6-month follow ups, prospecting and renewals
  • Updating stock lists and placing orders
  • Keeping the forecourt and vehicles clean and tidy
  • Adhoc duties as and when required

Compliance and FCA:

  • Maintain accurate data relating to customers in accordance with GDPR.
  • Accurately record the progress of enquiries and relevant elements from customer interactions.
  • Ensure internal regulatory checks and paperwork is completed in a timely manner, including integrity checks along with Finance and Insurance trackers
  • Operate within the FCA regulation adhering to the code of conduct
  • Manage customer queries concerning FCA regulated products
  • Advise customers on consumer credit purchases and arrangement of insurance

What you will need as our Sales Executive:

  • The chosen candidates will have a successful and proven track record of generating a high number of sales and delivering customer demand, by identifying their individual needs. You will be target driven and have the ability to hit and exceed targets.
  • Experience within a Sales environment/customer facing role or telesales.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Confident and highly presentable
  • Full UK Driving Licence held for at least 3 years (essential)

Working hours for this position will include weekends, and this will discussed at interview.
