Full job description

We’re on the hunt for a driven and knowledgeable Business Development Manager to represent our draught and packaged beer portfolio across London and its surrounding area. This field-based role is all about growing our presence in the local on-trade market, working closely with pubs, bars, restaurants, and independent venues to secure new listings and drive brand loyalty.

You’ll be the local face of our beer brands — passionate about product quality, customer relationships, and bringing our beers to life across taps and fridges throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and grow on-trade sales of draught and packaged beer across London and surrounding areas
  • Secure new business by prospecting independently owned pubs, bar groups, restaurants, and live venues.
  • Manage and nurture existing customer relationships to drive volume, loyalty, and repeat business.
  • Coordinate with technical teams on draught system installations and maintenance.
  • Pitch and promote our brands through site visits, product tastings, and staff training.
  • Collaborate with marketing and trade marketing teams on POS activations, events, and in-outlet campaigns.
  • Monitor and report on customer performance, sales activity, and local trends using CRM software.
  • Represent the brand at local events, trade shows, and tap takeovers when required.

About You:

  • Proven experience in on-trade drinks sales, ideally within the beer, cider, or broader beverage category.
  • Sound understanding of draught beer systems and confident discussing cellar and dispense setup.
  • Strong local knowledge and networking links
  • Passion for beer, you know your pales from your porters and can talk about beer with authenticity.
  • Resilient, self-motivated, and target-driven with a strong work ethic.
  • Able to work independently on the road, managing your own diary and priorities.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly across the region.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary + Discretionary Bonus
  • Company car + business mileage.
  • Tools of the trade: laptop, mobile, branded samples and support materials.
  • Flexible, field-based role with autonomy and ownership of your territory.
  • Opportunity to work with a growing, exciting beer portfolio.
  • Ongoing training, support, and clear progression opportunities within a passionate team.
