Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales & Projects Manager to drive our sales initiatives and oversee project execution. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead client engagement, assist with coordinating project delivery, and contribute to the growth of our timber solutions business. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Purpose

To drive new business, manage client relationships and oversee projects from initial enquiry through to successful completion, ensuring an exceptional customer experience while supporting the commercial performance of Timberpride.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Respond to all incoming enquiries.
  • Qualify leads and arrange client meetings.
  • Conduct site visits and consultations.
  • Understand client requirements and provide practical advice.
  • Build long-term relationships with homeowners, architects, developers and contractors.
  • Follow up quotations and convert opportunities into orders.
  • Maintain and develop the company CRM.

Commercial Management

  • Prepare preliminary budgets and pricing.
  • Work closely with the estimator to produce quotations.
  • Negotiate contracts and variations.
  • Ensure projects remain commercially viable.

Project Management

  • Act as a point of contact throughout each project.
  • Manage programmes and key milestones.
  • Liaise with the workshop and installation teams.
  • Resolve issues proactively to maintain programme.

Client Experience

  • Deliver a premium level of customer service.
  • Keep clients informed throughout the project.
  • Ensure projects are handed over successfully.

Skills & Experience

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong sales ability.
  • Construction knowledge.
  • Ability to read drawings.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Organised and self-motivated.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
