Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Seasonal Chef to join our culinary team for a temporary period. Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards
• Assist in planning menus that utilise seasonal ingredients effectively
• Ensure all food safety standards and hygiene regulations are strictly followed during food preparation and service
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing, sanitising, and storing utensils and equipment
• Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient meal service during busy periods
• Monitor stock levels of ingredients and notify management of any shortages or required supplies
• Serve dishes to customers with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring a positive dining experience
• Adhere to health and safety policies at all times, including proper handling of food allergens

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within restaurants or similar establishments
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
• Experience with meal preparation and working in fast-paced kitchen environments
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
• Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable
• Good communication skills and a friendly attitude towards customers and team members
• Ability to work flexibly during the seasonal period, including weekends if required
