Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Cook to join our team for weekend shifts only, working 10 hours per shift. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about food preparation and culinary arts, looking to contribute to a dynamic environment. Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to specified recipes and standards
• Ensure all food is prepared safely, hygienically, and in accordance with food safety regulations
• Assist in the organisation and management of kitchen supplies and ingredients
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area before, during, and after service
• Serve meals efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Support team members in meal assembly and plating as required
• Follow health and safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe working environment

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen or restaurant setting
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in meal presentation
• Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members
• Previous experience in meal preparation, serving, or culinary roles is highly desirable
• Flexibility to work weekends only, with availability for 10-hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays

Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
