At Little Kickers, we introduce children aged 18 months to 7 years to football through fun, imagination and play. Every class is filled with smiles, laughter, confidence-building and learning, and our coaches are at the heart of making that happen.

We’re looking for someone with a great personality, plenty of enthusiasm and a natural ability to engage young children. You don’t need to be an elite football coach. In fact, many of our best coaches have backgrounds in teaching, early years education, nurseries, drama and youth work.

What you’ll be doing

• Deliver fun, engaging Little Kickers sessions for children aged 18 months to 7 years.
• Create a positive environment where every child feels encouraged and included.
• Build excellent relationships with parents and carers.
• Work closely with fellow coaches to deliver safe, high-quality sessions.
• Help create an experience that children can’t wait to come back to each week.

We’re looking for someone who is

• Friendly, energetic and reliable.
• Confident communicating with both children and adults.
• Comfortable leading groups of young children.
• Passionate about helping children learn through play.
• Happy working independently and as part of a team.
• Available to work on Sunday mornings.

Ideal experience

Applications are welcomed from people with experience in:

• Early Years or Nursery settings
• Teaching Assistant roles
• Primary Education
• Children’s activity coaching
• Sports coaching
• Drama or Performing Arts
• Holiday clubs
• Youth work
• Childcare

Previous experience working with young children is highly desirable, although full Little Kickers training will be provided.

Essential requirements

• Full UK driving licence.
• Access to your own vehicle.
• Ability to travel reliably to Waltham Abbey on Sunday mornings.
