Role Overview:

3 hours/week on Satuday

Wynnstay Group is seeking a motivated and experienced Agricultural Warehouse Assistant at our busy Llandelio Depot, ensuring efficient operations and exceptional service for our valued farmer customers.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take the helm of a well-established and respected store at the heart of a rural community. If you bring a passion for agriculture, strong leadership skills, and a proven background in retail management, you’ll play a key role in driving performance during an exciting period of growth and transformation for Wynnstay.

Responsibilities:

  • Service customers and provide advice (where qualified) in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner
  • Carry out warehouse duties including receiving and stacking goods, order picking, paperwork, and assisting customers with bulky items and vehicle loading (safely)
  • Stock shelves, rotate stock, and assist with merchandising
  • Assist with accurate and timely stocktaking
  • Process cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide general support to product specialists and other team members
  • Support promotional campaigns
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the store yard, gardens, and overall site
  • Be flexible to provide cover at other stores when required
  • Meet agreed performance objectives through the appraisal process
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties as required
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures

What we’re looking for:

Essential:

  • Ability to perform a manual handling role
  • Willingness to operate a forklift safely and undertake training if not already licensed
  • Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
  • Good customer care skills.

Desirable:

  • Holding a Counterbalance Forklift Licence (or similar) already
  • Agricultural knowledge or experience
