Job description

We are seeking a highly organised and experienced scaffolding yard supervisor. This role involves overseeing the daily operations of our scaffolding yard, as well as planning our HGV deliveries and collections for the operation.

Key responsibilities

  • Scaffolding yard supervision.
  • Ensure all equipment is in compliance with safety standards.
  • To ensure all materials are prepared for use as per company expectations. (Training provided).
  • Coordinate with operations for timely dispatch and return to depot of scaffold materials.
  • Coordinating Yard Operatives / Drivers
  • Planning of HGV’S for the daily operation.
  • Maintain yard space and workshop area, as required.
  • Manage the Storing and moving materials to locations using FLT.
  • Controlling attendance and breaks.
  • Recording operations in daily diary / google drive.
  • Ensure pick lists and equipment returning and leaving the yard is recorded and communicated with operations.
  • Control and keep records of stock.
  • Ensuring the highest level of health and safety is always maintained within the yard.
  • Ensuring company rules and policies are always adhered too.

Requirements

  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Full Driving License (DVLA Check).
  • Proven experience in yard supervision. (Essential).
  • Experience in stock control.
  • Planning of HGV’S for delivery and collection (previous experience required).
  • FLT License (Essential).
  • First Aid Training (Preferable).
  • Construction / scaffolding Experience (Preferable).
  • Hours Monday – Friday to be agreed and some Saturday mornings were applicable.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Negotiable dependant on experience. Good package for right candidate.
