Scaffolder – CISRS Part 2 / Advanced

About Us

I-Scaff Access Solutions Ltd is an established, NASC member scaffolding contractor specialising in the delivery of high-quality access solutions across Scotland and the wider UK.

Due to continued growth and an expanding portfolio of projects, we are looking to recruit experienced CISRS Part 2 and Advanced Scaffolders to join our team.

Based from our headquarters in Glenrothes, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across Scotland, including:

  • Infrastructure: Bridges, highways and major civil engineering projects.
  • Industrial: Manufacturing facilities, energy plants and industrial maintenance.
  • Commercial: Construction, refurbishment and specialist building projects.
  • Marine: Ports, harbours, bridges and marine infrastructure.

We are looking for reliable, hardworking individuals who take pride in their workmanship, work well as part of a team and are committed to delivering scaffolding operations safely and efficiently.

The Role

As a Scaffolder with I-Scaff, you will work alongside our experienced scaffolding teams, supervisors and contracts management personnel to deliver a wide variety of traditional and specialist scaffolding installations.

The role will involve working with both traditional tube and fitting scaffolding and Layher Allround modular scaffolding systems, often on technically challenging and interesting projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely erect, adapt and dismantle scaffolding structures in accordance with approved designs, TG20, SG4 and relevant NASC guidance.
  • Work competently with traditional tube and fitting scaffolding and Layher Allround systems.
  • Interpret scaffold drawings and follow instructions from site supervisors.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship, productivity and site housekeeping.
  • Work effectively as part of a scaffolding squad to achieve project deadlines.
  • Ensure all activities are undertaken in accordance with company health and safety procedures.
  • Represent I-Scaff professionally when working on client sites.

Essential Requirements

  • Valid CISRS Part 2 (Scaffolder) or Advanced Scaffolder Card.
  • Proven experience erecting, altering and dismantling tube and fitting scaffolding.
  • Practical experience working with Layher Allround scaffolding systems.
  • Good understanding of scaffolding safety requirements and industry best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining high standards.
  • Willingness to travel to various project locations throughout Scotland.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Full UK driving licence – preferred.
  • Layher SSPTS training.
  • Previous experience working on infrastructure, industrial or marine projects.
  • Additional site safety training or relevant industry qualifications.
