QED Scaffolding Ltd is actively recruiting skilled, reliable and ambitious individuals to join our established and growing team.

Based in St Helens, Merseyside, we operate across the North West, working on a variety of projects, including social housing, railway infrastructure and commercial scaffolding contracts.

POSITION 1 – QUALIFIED SCAFFOLDERS

£140 – £210 PER DAY + OVERTIME & NIGHT WORK ENHANCEMENT

We are looking for experienced scaffolders at various CISRS qualification levels.

Requirements:

  • Valid CISRS Scaffolder Card appropriate to your level.
  • Previous scaffolding experience.
  • Strong work ethic and a reliable approach to attendance.
  • Ability to work safely and effectively as part of a team.
  • PTS (Personal Track Safety) card advantageous for railway projects.
  • Driving licence advantageous.

What We Offer:

  • £140 – £210 per day, depending on qualifications, experience and capability.
  • Full day's work = full day's pay.
  • Attendance-based daily pay structure based on agreed site working hours.
  • Enhanced rates for overtime and night shifts.
  • PAYE employment with holiday pay.

POSITION 2 – WAGON DRIVERS / DRIVER LABOURERS

£130 – £150 PER DAY

We also have opportunities for experienced drivers who are happy to undertake general labouring duties alongside driving responsibilities.

Positions available for:

  • 7.5-tonne wagon drivers.
  • HGV drivers.
  • Driver/labourers.

Requirements:

  • Appropriate driving licence and qualifications for the vehicle operated.
  • Willingness to assist with general labouring and site duties.
  • Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work as part of a busy scaffolding operation.

What We Offer:

  • Daily rates of £130 – £150, depending on experience and capability.
  • PAYE employment and holiday pay.

POSITION 3 – YARD LABOURERS / GENERAL OPERATIVES

£13.00 PER HOUR + OVERTIME

We are recruiting yard operatives to assist with the day-to-day running of our scaffolding operations.

Duties include:

  • General yard labouring.
  • Loading and unloading scaffolding materials.
  • Sorting, stacking and organising equipment.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised yard.
  • Driving 3.5-tonne pickup vehicles when required.
  • Assisting with other general operational duties.

What We Offer:

  • £13.00 per hour.
  • Overtime available beyond 40 hours per week.
  • PAYE employment with holiday pay.
