What you’ll be doing

  • Carrying out pre-start inspections to check roof readiness, scaffolding and materials.
  • Inspecting roofing work during installation and signing off completed roofs.
  • Coordinating roofers and labourers across multiple sites.
  • Planning start dates, material deliveries and labour with the Contracts Manager and buying team.

  • Attending site meetings and a weekly planning meeting at the Wellington office.

What you’ll need

  • Pitched roofing knowledge — essential.
  • At least three years’ construction experience.
  • Confidence supervising trades and organising work across multiple sites.
  • A strong understanding of site health and safety.
  • Clear communication, good organisation and a proactive approach.
  • A valid driving licence.

  • Workplace pension.
  • Full-time hours: 7:30am–5:00pm.
