Duties

We have an opportunity for a Scaffolding Project Manager to Join the business.

Our offices are based in Cumbernauld, but travel throughout Scotland and the North of England.

Responsible for approx. 5 - 6 squads.

Works are a mix of street work, new build industrial and construction.

Company vehicle provided.

Salary is starting £40 -£45k and negotiable depending on experience and what you can bring to the business.

Performance Bonuses also available.

Internal management systems used so must be competent with computers, smart phones apps etc.

Requirements Non Negotiable

  • Previous supervisor or management experience is a must.
  • High standards of work is a must.
  • Being able to organise jobs from order to completion and manage squads throughout the process is a must.

Ideally CISRS Supervisor and SSTS or SMSTS.

Minimum CISRS Scaffolder preferred Advanced.

What You'll Do

As the Scaffolding Project Manager, you're the one at the helm, steering each project from start to finish. You'll be responsible for:

- Leading Projects: Every day, you'll oversee the management of key scaffolding projects, making sure they're completed on time, within budget, and to the exacting standards our clients expect.

- Planning and Coordination: You'll plan and allocate resources like squads, transport, and materials, ensuring everything is where it needs to be, exactly when it's needed.

- Ensuring Safety: Safety isn't just a priority for you – it's your top concern. You'll ensure all operations comply with the latest safety regulations and A/S/S policies, maintaining our zero-incident goal.

- Communicating with Clients: You're the point person for our clients, keeping them informed, addressing their concerns, and making sure they're thrilled with the work you and your team deliver.

- Leading Your Team: You set the standard. Whether it's motivating your team, ensuring they have what they need, or leading by example, you'll foster a culture of professionalism, safety, and quality.

- Managing Costs: You'll closely monitor budgets and targets, ensuring efficient delivery of every project, without compromising on the quality that A/S/S is known for.

- Documenting Success: You'll handle all the documentation, from RAMS to handover certificates, ensuring that everything is in place for seamless invoicing and project closure.

Qualifications You Need

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a scaffolding management role.

- CISRS Scaffolder and SSSTS certified.

- A proven track record of delivering projects in a fast-paced environment.

- Proficiency with internal software systems such as Outlook, Excel, Smart Manager, and Connect IT.

- A full UK driving licence.
