Scaffolding Estimator – South East (Kent Area)

Permanent | Competitive Salary | Career Development Opportunities

An established and growing scaffolding contractor is seeking an experienced and commercially astute Scaffolding Estimator to join its team, supporting projects across the South East. This is a key role for a detail-oriented professional who can assess, price, and support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of scaffolding solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate estimates for scaffolding works, including site assessments, measurements, and material take-offs
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and design teams to understand requirements and propose effective solutions
  • Source and assess supplier quotes to ensure best-value project delivery
  • Support tender submissions with well-structured documentation and pricing schedules
  • Maintain awareness of current scaffolding regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices
  • Work closely with the commercial and operational teams to hand over successful bids smoothly

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an estimator within the scaffolding industry
  • Strong technical understanding of scaffolding systems and temporary works
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with attention to detail
  • Familiarity with estimating software and MS Office tools
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Full UK driving licence
