Job Title: Scaffolding Labourer / Driver

Location: South East England
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Scaffolding Labourer / Driver to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role that involves assisting scaffolders on-site, loading and unloading materials, and driving company vehicles to transport equipment safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting scaffolders with the erection, alteration, and dismantling of scaffolding.
  • Loading, unloading, and transporting scaffolding materials to and from sites.
  • Driving company vehicles in accordance with road traffic regulations.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
  • Carrying out manual handling duties and general labouring tasks.
  • Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
  • Following all company health and safety procedures.
  • Supporting the team to ensure projects are completed on time.

Requirements

  • Valid driving licence (Category B minimum; additional licence categories advantageous).
  • Previous labouring, construction, or scaffolding experience preferred but not essential.
  • Good level of physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.

Desirable Qualifications

  • CSCS Card.
  • Scaffolding Labourer Card (COTS) or relevant scaffolding experience.
  • Experience driving vans or light commercial vehicles.
  • Forklift or Hiab certification (advantageous but not essential).
