Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Scaffolder licence to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing, erecting, and dismantling scaffolding systems to support construction and maintenance projects. This role requires a strong understanding of safety protocols, as well as the ability to work effectively in various environments. The Scaffold Builder will collaborate with other tradespeople and ensure that all scaffolding meets industry standards.

Duties

  • Construct and assemble scaffolding structures according to specifications and safety regulations.
  • Inspect scaffolding components for damage or wear before use.
  • Dismantle scaffolding after project completion, ensuring all materials are accounted for.
  • Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters and masons, to coordinate work activities.
  • Utilise power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently in the assembly process.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents on-site.

Skills

  • Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to scaffold building.
  • Experience in fabrication, welding, or masonry is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems is a plus for integrated scaffold solutions.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings related to scaffold design.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on safety practices.
  • Experience in roofing or painting may be beneficial for specific projects.
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Physical stamina and strength to perform manual tasks throughout the day, including lifting heavy materials and working at heights.
