About The Role

This advert is to register your interest for future positions expected to become available at HPC.

Altrad are currently looking for Trainee Scaffolders to join the team at Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater, Somerset, United Kingdom for the upcoming project.

This role will involve working 10:15-hour shifts on a 10/4 shift pattern, with start date to be confirmed. The position is paid under ECSA agreements, with lodge and travel paid where applicable. Pay rate: £20.97 basic/h. Possible opportunity to work on a non-working day at OT rates. Overtime will not come into effect until your first full working week.

Key Accountabilities:

  • As directed, carry Scaffold duties in a manner that complies with the requirements of both Altrad, and our clients
  • Alteration and dismantling types of scaffolding and to drawings,
  • Ensure correct preparation of work piece, use and selection of materials.
  • Check equipment prior to use and maintain same during work and on completion
  • At all times maintaining a professional attitude and in accordance with all relevant Health & Safety obligations
  • Assisting our current on site team with required tasks

Key Requirements:

  • CISRS Part 1 Trainee Scaffolder Card
  • Have a valid CCNSG Safety Passport
  • Strong safety awareness
  • Good planning and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Reliable and professional work ethic
  • Customer and site-user awareness
