Shape Safe Construction. Make a Lasting Impact.

Are you passionate about construction safety, problem-solving and delivering projects the right way?

At Abri Build, we're looking for an experienced Temporary Works Coordinator to play a pivotal role in ensuring our construction projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. This is an opportunity to be at the heart of our operations, working alongside project teams, designers, engineers and site managers to make sure temporary works are planned, coordinated and executed with confidence.

Why This Role Matters:

Temporary works are critical to the success of every construction project. From excavation support and scaffolding to access systems and structural stability, your expertise will help keep our people safe, our projects moving and our standards exceptionally high.

This role offers the chance to influence projects from planning through to completion, providing expert guidance and ensuring best practice is embedded at every stage.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead the temporary works process from design brief through to implementation and removal.
  • Ensure designs, inspections and approvals are in place before works commence.
  • Maintain temporary works registers, permits and project records.
  • Work closely with site teams, engineers, designers and subcontractors to ensure full compliance with procedures and standards.
  • Coordinate inspections and verify works have been completed in accordance with approved designs.
  • Support and mentor Temporary Works Supervisors and site teams.
  • Provide expert advice on temporary works risks, controls and best practice.
  • Help foster a positive safety culture across all projects.

What You'll Need:

  • Experience within construction, housebuilding, civil engineering or a similar environment.
  • A strong understanding of temporary works procedures and compliance requirements.
  • Experience coordinating, supervising or managing temporary works activities.
  • Knowledge of CDM regulations and construction health and safety legislation.
  • CITB Temporary Works Coordinator training or equivalent.
  • The confidence to challenge where necessary and champion safe working practices.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build positive working relationships across project teams.

If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment, enjoys collaborating with a wide range of people and takes pride in ensuring things are done safely and compliantly, we'd love to hear from you.
