Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable HGV driver to join our scaffolding team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to site and work as a team to assist the scaffolders in erecting and dismantling scaffold. This position Is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, working with a team and wants steady, long term work in the construction industry.

Duties

  • Safely operate flatbed lorries and other commercial vehicles to deliver goods across designated routes
  • Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo during transit
  • Work as a team with the scaffolders to erect, dismantle and load scaffolding
  • Carrying out daily vehicle and load safety checks

Requirements

  • Valid Class 2 driving licence
  • No experience scaffolding necessary
  • Physically fit and able to carry out scaffolding duties
  • Ability to handle physical tasks such as loading/unloading cargo and securing loads on flatbeds
  • Excellent team working skills
  • Must be respectful and have a good attitude
