Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Scaffolding Operations Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of scaffolding projects within our organization. This role is vital in ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant execution of scaffolding operations across multiple sites. As a key leader, you will coordinate teams, manage resources, and uphold the highest safety standards while delivering exceptional service to clients. Your expertise will drive operational excellence, foster a safety-first culture, and support the growth of our scaffolding division.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage scaffolding project planning, execution, and completion to ensure timely delivery and adherence to safety regulations.
  • Supervise scaffolding teams, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to optimize productivity and safety.
  • Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, and clients to align project goals, schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety standards, including conducting regular site inspections and risk assessments.
  • Oversee procurement of scaffolding materials and equipment, maintaining inventory levels and managing vendor relationships.
  • Promote a safety-first culture by implementing best practices, conducting safety meetings, and addressing any unsafe conditions promptly.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to project progress, safety incidents, inspections, and compliance records.
  • Vehicle Oversight - Operators License , defects, servicing
  • Operative Portal - RAMS, PPE , POWRA

Requirements

  • Proven experience in scaffolding operations management or a similar leadership role within the construction or industrial sectors.
  • Strong understanding of scaffolding systems, installation techniques, and relevant safety standards.
  • Electrical experience is highly desirable to coordinate work involving electrical components or systems integrated with scaffolding projects.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in planning and documentation processes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders including clients, vendors, and team members.
  • Relevant certifications such as OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) training or equivalent are preferred.
