Scaffolding jobs in Sale

Cheshire Roof Repairs Ltd – Knutsford, Cheshire

Job Type: Full-Time | CIS
Pay: Competitive rates – Negotiable depending on experience
Location: Knutsford and surrounding areas

Fed up with long days, endless travelling and being worked into the ground?

We might just be the company you've been looking for!

Cheshire Roof Repairs is looking for an experienced Part 2 or Advanced Scaffolder to join our friendly, hardworking team based in Knutsford.

We're a growing, independent, family-run business with a great team, a good atmosphere and a refreshingly different approach to the working day.

We're not one of those companies that expects you to work yourself into the ground, spend half your life sitting in traffic or be treated like just another number.

We work hard, have a laugh and look after our lads. It's as simple as that!

Why Work With Us?

• Local work! The vast majority of our jobs are around Knutsford and the surrounding Cheshire areas. No spending hours driving up and down the motorway every day.
• Our own roofing projects! Most of our scaffolding is erected for our own roofing teams, meaning we're not constantly chasing large commercial site contracts or working under unreasonable site pressures.
• A sensible workload! We believe in getting the job done properly without running our workforce into the ground.
• A great team! We're a friendly bunch who work together, help each other out and enjoy a good laugh along the way.
• Job security and stability! We're growing at a nice, steady pace, with long-term plans for the business.
• Your work matters! We're a company where quality is more important than rushing to get the next job done.
• Be part of something! We're building a business that's here for the long run, and we'd love to have the right people along for the journey.

What We're Looking For

We're not asking for the impossible. We just want someone who takes pride in their work and can be relied upon.

• CISRS Part 2 Scaffolder qualification or above – Essential
• Experience erecting and dismantling traditional tube and fitting scaffolding
• A good understanding of safe working practices
• Someone reliable, punctual and hardworking
• A positive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team
• Someone who takes pride in producing safe, tidy and quality scaffolding
• A bit of personality and a sense of humour wouldn't go amiss either!

Bonus Points If You Can Drive Our Wagon!

Ideally, we'd love to find someone who can also drive our 7.5-tonne scaffolding wagon, so the appropriate driving licence and entitlement would be a big advantage.

However, don't let that put you off applying!

We're more than happy to consider experienced scaffolders who hold a standard UK car driving licence.

Finding the right person is far more important to us.

Pay & Working Arrangements

• Competitive rates of pay, negotiable depending on qualifications and experience
• Paid through the CIS scheme
• Full-time, ongoing work
• Based from our Knutsford yard
• Predominantly local projects
• Established team with a steady flow of work

Come and Join the Family!

Cheshire Roof Repairs is going from strength to strength, but we're determined not to lose the friendly, family-business atmosphere that has helped us get to where we are today.

We're not trying to become the biggest scaffolding company in the country. We want to be a great company to work for, producing quality work with a team that enjoys what they do.

If you're a good scaffolder, turn up when you say you will, take pride in your work and enjoy a bit of banter, you'll fit right in!

Whether you're looking for a fresh start or somewhere you can settle down for the long term, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply today through Indeed and come and have a chat with us.
