Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and eager Scaffolder Apprentice to join our dynamic construction team. This entry-level role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop foundational skills in scaffolding and gain hands-on experience across various construction disciplines. As a Scaffolder Apprentice, you will assist experienced scaffolders in assembling, dismantling, and maintaining safe scaffolding structures on diverse projects. This paid apprenticeship is designed to foster your growth in the construction industry while ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality at every step.

Responsibilities

  • Support the installation, inspection, and dismantling of scaffolding structures under supervision
  • Assist with the preparation of materials and tools needed for scaffold assembly
  • Learn to interpret project plans and safety guidelines related to scaffolding work
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly
  • Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
  • Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
  • Gain exposure to related trades such as carpentry, roofing, plumbing, masonry, welding, electrical work, and fabrication

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in construction environments
  • Strong interest in learning construction trades such as carpentry, roofing, or masonry
  • Ability to follow instructions carefully and work safely at heights when required
  • Good physical condition with the ability to stand, lift, and carry materials for extended periods
  • Willingness to learn new skills and take on diverse responsibilities on-site
  • Prior experience or familiarity with construction painting, plumbing, welding or electrical work is a plus but not required
  • Commitment to adhering to safety standards and procedures at all times
