Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 per year
Experience: 2–5 Years

Job Summary

We are seeking a Python Developer – Big Data to join our team and work on innovative, data-driven solutions within the financial services sector.

This role is ideal for candidates with strong Python development skills who enjoy building scalable applications, working with large datasets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain applications using Python
  • Build scalable and high-performance data processing solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business-critical applications
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and performance optimization
  • Follow software development best practices and coding standards
  • Contribute to the design and enhancement of data-driven solutions

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2–5 years of software development experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with Python (mandatory)
  • Experience with Java
  • Solid understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in Agile environments
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to Scala
