About Us:

Create Extraordinary Wellness Spaces

At Finnmark Sauna, we create more than saunas—we design exceptional wellness environments that combine Scandinavian craftsmanship, architectural beauty, and transformative wellbeing.
As the UK’s leading specialist in authentic Nordic sauna design and installation, we work with discerning homeowners, architects, interior designers, developers, and luxury hospitality clients to deliver some of the country’s most impressive private wellness spaces.
As demand continues to grow, we’re seeking an experienced Bespoke Sauna Design Consultant to join our expanding team and lead high-value residential and commercial projects throughout the South of England.
This opportunity is ideally suited to professionals from luxury interiors, bespoke kitchens, premium home improvement, architectural products, high-end furniture, wellness design, or similar design-led sectors who thrive in consultative sales environments and enjoy working with affluent clients on significant investments in their homes and businesses.

The Opportunity:

This is a consultative, relationship-driven sales role where you’ll guide clients through the complete journey—from initial concept through to installation and handover.
Rather than managing a high volume of transactions, you’ll focus on a select number of high-value projects, building trusted relationships and helping clients bring their vision to life.

You’ll work closely with homeowners, architects, interior designers, contractors, and our in-house specialists to create bespoke sauna and wellness solutions that combine exceptional design, technical excellence, and commercial viability.
Success in this role comes from your ability to understand a client’s aspirations, translate them into a compelling design brief, and confidently guide them through a considered purchasing decision.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Managing the complete client journey from initial enquiry through to signed contract and successful project completion.
  • Conducting in-depth design consultations to understand clients’ lifestyles, objectives, aesthetic preferences, spatial requirements, and budgets.
  • Visiting client homes and project sites to assess opportunities, gather technical information, and advise on design possibilities.
  • Collaborating with our in-house design and technical teams to develop inspiring, commercially viable proposals.
  • Presenting bespoke design concepts, specifications, and investment proposals with confidence and professionalism.
  • Building strong relationships with architects, interior designers, contractors, developers, and other project stakeholders.
  • Managing multiple high-value projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Providing an outstanding customer experience throughout every stage of the process.
  • Following up after installation to ensure complete client satisfaction and generate referrals and repeat business.
  • Maintaining accurate CRM records, project documentation, and pipeline management.
  • Developing relationships with architects, designers, and specifiers through networking and CPD presentations to generate new project opportunities.
  • Who We’re Looking ForWe’re interested in ambitious, commercially successful professionals who combine strong sales ability with an appreciation for design, craftsmanship, and exceptional customer experience.

Essential Experience:

  • Minimum five years’ experience in a consultative sales role within a design-led environment.
  • Proven success selling premium, bespoke, or luxury products and services.
  • Experience managing longer sales cycles and high-value projects.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with high-net-worth and discerning clients.
  • Ability to confidently present solutions, manage objections, and close significant sales opportunities.
  • Excellent commercial awareness combined with a consultative, client-focused approach.
  • Experience using CRM systems and managing a structured sales pipeline.
  • Willingness to travel regularly throughout London, the Home Counties, and the South of England.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a professional vehicle.
  • Particularly Relevant BackgroundsWe would be especially interested in candidates with experience in:
  • Bespoke kitchens and luxury fitted furniture
  • Interior design and luxury residential projects
  • Architectural and specification sales
  • Premium home improvement products
  • Luxury bathrooms and wellness spaces
  • High-end construction and renovation
  • Luxury furniture and interiors
  • Spa, wellness, or hospitality design

What You’ll Receive:

Training & Onboarding

You’ll spend your first 2–4 weeks at our headquarters in Spennymoor, County Durham, where you’ll receive comprehensive training in sauna design, wellness principles, technical specifications, and our consultative sales process. Accommodation will be provided.

Following onboarding, you’ll visit our Durham headquarters approximately once every 12 weeks.
