Working Hours: 7am- 4pm

Purpose of the Role:
To ensure the academy site, buildings, and grounds are safe, secure, clean, and well maintained, providing a positive learning environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Open and close the academy premises and carry out security checks.
- Conduct routine maintenance, minor repairs, and basic DIY tasks.
- Monitor the condition of buildings, equipment, and grounds, reporting and resolving issues where appropriate.
- Support health and safety compliance, including fire safety checks and risk management procedures.
- Coordinate with contractors and supervise site works when required.
- Assist with room setups, academy events, and deliveries.
- Ensure the site remains clean, tidy, and presentable at all times.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and site-related issues.
Skills & Experience:
- Practical maintenance and caretaking experience.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures.
- Good problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a proactive approach to site management.
Reporting To: Operations Manager
Pay: £200.00-£210.00 per day
