Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Librarian to manage our library resources and act as a champion for literacy across the school. You will play a pivotal role in supporting students and staff with research skills, identifying barriers to learning, and fostering a vibrant reading culture within our "Ofsted Outstanding" style environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Resource Management: Oversight of all library assets, ensuring the collection is diverse, inclusive, and aligned with the curriculum.
  • Literacy Promotion: Lead initiatives that inspire a love for reading and raise student aspirations across all key stages.
  • Academic Support: Provide dedicated support to students and staff in developing information literacy and advanced research skills.
  • Inclusive Environment: Work closely with the wider school team to identify and remove barriers to learning, ensuring the library is a safe, welcoming space for all.
