Full job description
At Camphill School Aberdeen, we currently have an opportunity for a caring and enthusiastic ASN Day Services Student Practitioner to join our Day Services team on a pert-time or full-time basis.
Within the learning for life day services team, your primary task will be to create and maintain a supportive work, learning and/or therapeutic environment for children/young people in their workshops and to assist in the provision of a safe and meaningful learning environment both individually and as part of a team, to help young people achieve their potential by strengthening areas where they can develop.
This post requires:
1 – 2 years experience of working with additional support needs (children and/or (young) adults)
SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or working towards suitable qualifications to meet SSSC requirements)
SSSC registration with/without conditions
PVG membership for work with children and vulnerable adults
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Pay: £13.45 per hour
Expected hours: 22.5 – 37.5 per week
