Hampshire – Multiple Locations

Starting: September 2026

We are seeking professional, reliable, and safety-focused School Transport Drivers to provide transport services for children and young people throughout Hampshire.

Don't worry if you don't have a Private Hire licence. We will sponsor your Private Hire licence application (subject to training agreement) if you don't hold an existing Private Hire Driver's licence.

This is an excellent opportunity for self-employed drivers looking for a part-time job but with full-time pay.

The Role

  • Safely transport pupils to and from school.
  • Wheelchair handling on some routes (Training provided)
  • Maintain a professional and caring approach with passengers.
  • Work alongside Passenger Assistants where required.
  • Ensure vehicles are operated in accordance with licensing, safeguarding, and road safety requirements.
  • Remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
  • Valid driving licence with a clean driving record (no DD, DR endorsements)
  • All applicants are subject to an Enhanced DBS check

Vehicle Options

Applicants must either:

  • Own an Eastleigh-plated Private Hire Vehicle, or
  • Hire one of our company vehicles (available for both business and reasonable private use, subject to agreement).

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage challenging situations professionally.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Appropriate Private Hire licensing and checks (Existing Eastleigh PH badge is preferred).
