We are currently working with a secondary school in Wandsworth who are looking for a Business Support Officer to join their school on a full-time basis from September 2026.

The Role

In this role you will be carrying out business operations and processes within the school. You will be expected to work on behalf of the principal to fix issues and improve systems within the school. The role is very diverse and you will also support the academy’s facilities and health and safety administration, Monitoring, reporting and compliance focused tasks

The school are looking for a teacher with the following:

  • Experience of working within school office support and reception area
  • Relay instructions to other admin staff as directed by SLT
  • Be confident in routine reporting and compliance logs
  • Be able to monitor the school’s health and safety logs in a timely manner
  • Experience of promoting and maximising sales of the schools’ hireable spaces
  • Expire and knowledge of school Data protection in order to act as the schools lead on this
  • Experience of supporting SLT with induction process for new students and families
  • Knowledge of GDPR and maintain this as well as health and safety processes
  • Must be educated to GCSE level
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Excellent Letter and report writing skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to relate to people at all levels
  • Excellent administration skills and the ability to meet deadlines
